Are the organic spice and tea blends as well as the cooking oils produced in Austria?
Yes, we produce with our partner companies exclusively in Austria.
Where do the herbs come from?
Every herb that we can source locally and in organic quality ends up in our production. Anything that doesn't grow here in Austria comes from partners all over the world - organically and under fair conditions, of course.
What is special about makasol?
Our herbs are harvested, cut, dried and processed as gently as possible. It's an effort that's worth it: All the ingredients and flavors are preserved long after production. You can see it in the strong colors, you can smell it when you sniff our products - and you can taste it when you use them to refine your dishes.
Which salt is used in our seasoning salts?
The sea salt that we use for our products is preserved in its natural integrity thanks to the gentle extraction process and is therefore free from preservatives, flow agents or additional iodization. It comes from the west coast of South Africa, a region in which humans have intervened very little to date. There, a huge, underground seawater lake feeds our salt gardens, from which the salt for our seasoning mixtures is extracted by hand. These special geological conditions on site ensure that our sea salt is completely free of contamination by microplastics.
What does “ORGANIC” mean?
All ingredients come from controlled organic farming and the use of chemical pesticides, commercial fertilizers and genetic engineering is prohibited.
Do the screw caps on our spice jars contain plastic?
No, the blue rings in our screw caps are PVC-free and do not contain any harmful plasticizers.
What material are the tea tins made of?
Made of tinplate.
FAQ Order
Is there a minimum order value?
No, there isn't. Delivery costs are waived for orders over a certain value, which varies from country to country (Austria from 60 euros, Germany from 70 euros and the rest of the EU from 80 euros). You can find more information about this in your shopping cart when you check out.
The product I want is currently not available in the online shop?
We only produce small quantities and only as much as is currently necessary and available. Send us an email using the contact form and let us know which product you are currently missing.
How can I pay in the webshop?
Payment is possible by credit card, Paypal, Shopify Pay or Sofortüberweisung. Unfortunately, purchase on account is not possible.
I have not received an order confirmation or invoice.
After completing the order and providing your correct email address, you will receive an order confirmation from us by email within a few minutes. If you have not received an order confirmation, there are several possible reasons for this:
Did you enter an incorrect or invalid email address?
Was your email accidentally identified as SPAM? Please check your SPAM folder to see if the order confirmation is there.

How do I receive my invoice?
We only send our invoices by email. First check your spam folder - if you can't find them there, please contact us at bestellung@makasol.com.
Who can I contact if I have questions about my order?
If you have any questions about your order, please contact us at bestellung@makasol.com or use our contact form on the website.
When will my order be shipped?
Once your order has been completed, it will be forwarded directly to our shipping partner and dispatched promptly. Shipping usually takes 1-3 working days. Orders to foreign countries should arrive within 5-7 working days. As soon as the order is on its way, you will receive an email with the shipment link.
I would like to return a product or make a complaint.
As a customer, you have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. You as the customer will bear the costs of returning the goods. I would like to cancel my order.
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to cancel an order after it has been completed, as it is immediately forwarded to our shipping partner.
