DIY chocolate for Mother's Day
Almost every mom enjoys sweet treats, and with our idea, you can transform a simple bar of chocolate into something truly special. Melted chocolate is reshaped and decorated with dried strawberries and a few rose petals from our "Sensual Journey" tea – it's not only beautiful to look at, it's also a delicious treat!
For approx. 1 casserole dish:
- 500 g cooking chocolate
- Approx. 20g white chocolate
- Freeze-dried strawberries
- Puffed quinoa
- makasol herbal tea "Sensory Journey" rose petals
Here's how:
1. Preheat the oven to 50°C fan/convection oven. Line a baking dish with baking paper, place the chocolate bars on top, and melt in the oven at 50°C fan/convection oven for just 10 minutes.
2. In the meantime, grate the white chocolate and chop the freeze-dried strawberries.
3. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and use a skewer to shape the chocolate slightly. Then spread the white chocolate shavings over the dark chocolate. Wait a moment and then blend again with the skewer. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries and quinoa over the chocolate.
4. It is best to let it set in the refrigerator overnight.
This is another recipe where you can let your creativity run wild when it comes to ingredients. Once the chocolate has melted, you can decorate it with nuts, cookies, wafers, Smarties, but also chia seeds, goji or aronia berries, cacao nibs, etc.
Really delicious!
