elderberry-orange punch
Winter is just around the corner and we already have a wonderfully warming punch recipe for you. With our punch, dark and cool autumn evenings become cozy evenings at home. It's quick and easy to prepare - and healthy too.
Ingredients for 1 liter of punch:
- 650 ml boiling water
- 4 teaspoons of "Elderberry Time" tea
- 350 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 3 star anise
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3-4 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup or similar)
preparation
Pour hot water over the tea, star anise and cinnamon. Let everything steep for 5-8 minutes. Then add the orange juice and adjust the sweetness to taste. Optionally, the punch can be prepared in a pot so that you can heat it up again after adding the orange juice.
Decorate the punch with orange slices, cinnamon and rosemary sprig and serve.
TIP: It looks particularly pretty if you cover the edges of the glass with sugar - just dip the glass 0.5 cm into cold water and then into sugar. The sugar sticks to the wet spot. Then let it dry and the sugar will stick well to the glass.
